Search for missing Patrick County woman expanded

The search for a Patrick County woman, missing nearly a month, has expanded to a lake and a wooded area in Franklin County. Latisha Faust, a 50 year-old Stuart woman, was reported missing on December 9th. She was last seen leaving a pharmacy in Floyd County, and then last heard from on a phone call with her mother. Her car was located in Franklin County, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in an area known as Walnut Knob, nearly three weeks after her disappearance. Her mother says she doesn't know anyone in that area, and would have no reason to be there. On Monday cadaver dogs found a sandal that Faust's mother identified as belonging to her daughter. Anyone with more information is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
