Feltham man jailed after cocaine found in shed

A DRUG dealer has been jailed for two years after police found cocaine with a street value of £60,000 in a Feltham shed.

Perry Michael Allen, of Southern Avenue, Feltham, was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court last Thursday after admitting three charges of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

He was sentenced to 24 months for each count, to run concurrently.

The 24-year-old was arrested in Sandycombe Road, Feltham, on May 8, along with two other men, after residents reported them acting suspiciously.

When officers from Bedfont Safer Neighbourhood Team approached the trio they saw one of the men discard a small bag of white powder, believed to be cocaine.

Sniffer dogs were brought in to search the shed and helped uncover a stash of cocaine weighing about 1.5kg.

Inspector Manpreet Bains, of Hounslow Police, said: "This is an excellent example of Safer Neighbourhood Team work.

"The enthusiasm and local knowledge shown by Sgt James Brockway and his team was key to the seizure of the drugs. Removal of such a large amount of drugs will go towards making Hounslow a safer place."

No further action was taken against the other two men arrested alongside Allen.
